The Frédérique Constant Classiques: a tribute to a Fine Horlogerie de Genève, uniting style, elegance and high quality at reasonable prices. Frédérique Constant pays tribute to the famous pianist and composer Frédéric Chopin. 2010 saw the 200th anniversary of Frederic Chopin, who was born in 1810. These commemorative watches are produced in a limited edition of 1810 pieces in steel and yellow gold plated and feature an ultra classic dial with the model of one of the piano keys in the center. Each watch is delivered in a miniature piano of Frédéric Chopin. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Frederic Chopin hundreds of events are planned, not only in Poland, but all over the world - concerts, exhibitions, meetings, festivals, congresses and others. The activities are actively coordinated and controlled by the Institute of Frederic Chopin, which was established in 2001 on the basis of an act of the Polish Parliament, to organize concerts, lectures, courses, as well as to cover the research and the popularization of knowledge about the life and work of Chopin, and cooperation with institutions and organizations involved in the protection of Chopin's heritage. The Frederic Chopin Institute officially authorized the Frederique Constant Limited Edition of F. Chopin.
